It is AIDS Alabama South's mission of securing the health and well-being of people living with HIV. It is our vision to strengthen our communities HIV prevention by increasing awareness of the epidemic, engaging our passionate community, and securing vital care and advocacy programs and services.  One of the many ways AIDS Alabama South does this is by providing high quality trained facilitators to help strengthen individual organizations' competencies and knowledge about HIV and AIDS. Our training is intended to be judgment-free, trauma-informed and supportive spaces.

Generally, these training's last 2 hours and are most productive with 1 facilitator for every 20 people. We offer several pre-planned trainings and we do a great deal of customized work depending on the individual business' needs. We also provide regular training to domestic violence organizations, government agencies, mental health providers, schools and community centers about HIV prevention and people living with HIV/AIDS. Our training is available to any group or organization interested in issues of prevention and advocacy.
