When someone comes to AIDS Alabama South for testing and care, they can feel confident knowing they will receive compassionate, respectful, and dignified treatment. We strive to assist everyone in need of care without exception.
Our mission is to ensure that all individuals in our community have access to the high-quality healthcare they need.
How We Help
If a client is HIV positive we assign them to a social worker who connects them with a continuum of care which includes medical needs, financial and housing assistance, mental health counseling, nutrition support, peer groups and transportation. We continue to expand our social services to ensure more people from our community have timely, compassionate access to the health services they need.
Mission
AIDS Alabama South focuses on preventing new HIV infections and enhancing the health of people living with HIV through support services and education.
Vision
End the HIV epidemic in Southwest Alabama. Our goal is zero infections and zero stigma.
